About SWIF (Seafarers Worker India Federation)
The Seafarers Worker India Federation (SWIF) is a national union dedicated to protecting and empowering seafarers, shipyard staff, and offshore workers across India. Affiliated with the International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF), we ensure global standards of fair wages, safety, and dignity for our members.
Whether serving on cargo ships, cruise liners, oil rigs, or in shipyards, SWIF provides legal protection, career guidance, and long-term support—building a stronger future for India’s maritime workforce.
